Beyonce Knowles-Carter marked her return to show business with an iconic British Vogue photo shoot, after a six-year musical hiatus.

The 40-year-old superstar, who released her latest album Lemonade in 2016, wore an incredible gold-tone metal hooded Schiaparelli gown that had a plunging neckline and showed off her incredible curves as she smoldered for the camera.

Sporting short jagged bangs, she wore giant Saturn earrings as she sat in front of a red backdrop with the brief: “Beyonce turn up the heat.”

A second image shows the muscian wearing Junya Watanabe leather and chunky Harris Reed And Roker platform boots as she lay on a motorbike, while sporting black lipstick, as smoke fills the front of the frame .

Editor Edward Enninful styled and interviewed the superstar for the iconic shoot, revealing: “New music is coming – exciting abundance.”

Writing about the process of creating Rafael Pavarotti’s ‘fashion fantasia’ photo shoot for the issue, he gave fantastic insight into what happened on set, writing that Beyonce loved sending him ‘great and long texts as they brainstormed ideas for filming together. .

He said: “It was a magical vibe and soon B was walking around feeling easy and free to be herself. Her husband and children came to surprise her on the set. It was a family day out – if a bit surreal.
